Our full day (7 hours birding) and half day tours (5 hours birding) are available by advance booking arrangement only. We limit tours to no more than 8 persons to ensure your enjoyment. All tours start at Bluefields (Belmont Beach) and we can pick you up at your hotel. Negril and Montego Bay are about one hour away. Our easy routes follow old parochial roads and well defined tracks in the foothills of the mountains, through woodlands and forest with plenty of time to observe and enjoy the spectacular surroundings and panoramic views. Walking distances during the session are not great. Probably around a mile in all on easy woodland tracks at an elevation of around 500ft. For the more sure footed we can climb on some narrower paths.

Tours are accompanied throughout by very knowledgeable and friendly local guides. We provide bottled water and a snack bar during the tour. Lunch can be arranged locally at your request. Dress is important and we recommend that birders wear long trousers, covered shoes (trainers are ideal) and a short sleeved shirt and hat. Normal day time temperature range 26 – 31 degrees celsius.

Each Birder is given a complementary Jamaican Species Check list as a souvenir and record of great birding at Bluefields.
